September 5, 2024 - Special Town Meeting (ACO Budget and Proposed Ordinance Changes)
Important Dates & Deadlines
- August 13, 2024 - 1st Public hearing on Proposed Ordinance Changes (Land Use - Design Standards & Modular Homes in Village District, Property Maintenance, and Cemetery)
- August 20, 2024 - 2nd Public hearing on Proposed Ordinance Changes
- August 26, 2024 - Select Board votes on proposed Warrant Articles
November 5, 2024 - General Election, Municipal Election, and Community Center Vote at the Naples Town Office
Important Dates & Deadlines

July 8, 2024 - Municipal nomination petition papers become available to those seeking to run for municipal office.

August 7, 2024 - Earliest date to request an absentee ballot.

September 6, 2024 - Deadline to submit municipal nomination petition papers to the Town Clerk's Office or to file as a write-in candidate.

October 6, 2024 - Anticipated date on which absentee ballots will become available. Contact 207-693-6364 to confirm.

October 15, 2024 - Last day for the Town Clerk's Office to receive voter registration applications by mail.

October 16, 2024 - Closed period begins. All voter registration applications must be submitted in person.

October 25, 2024 - 11-Day Pre-Election Campaign Finance Reports are due from municipal candidates.

October 31, 2024 - Last day for "no excuse needed" absentee voting.

November 1, 2024 - Limited absentee voting. Available only to those voters who have a qualifying special circumstance.

November 5, 2024 - Election Day. Polls open 8am - 8pm.

December 17, 2024 - 42-Day Post-Election Campaign Finance Reports are due from municipal candidates.
